The soul is defined as an emotional or intellectual energy or intensity, often revealed in a work of art or an artistic performance. To talk is to speak and give information or express ideas or feelings; converse or communicate by spoken words.
Knowing this, it only fits that Soul Talks be the title of my first publication. Yup, you read it right. November 2, 2021, will be a glorious day, so mark your calendars and keep your eyes on your social media and your inboxes for more information!
Who would have thought I would go from a paralyzing fear of writing and sharing my blog to publishing a book in a year? Let's agree that God has a sense of humour and a funny way of showing us things when we are still enough to listen, and for that, I am thankful.
So, what does all of this mean? It means that after writing 20,000+ words and re-igniting tendonitis in both wrists, The Inspired Introvert is spreading her wings and taking flight.
Soul Talks: 52-Weeks of Inspiration will be printed and ready for distribution, so mark your calendars for November 2, 2021. This book has a few remastered blog favourites, and the rest are new pieces that I am excited to share with all of you.
I deliberately dug deep as I worked on this project and have carefully curated pieces that I hope give you insight, contemplation and a healthy dose of inspiration. You are going to feel all the feelings if you choose to be honest. You will be encouraged to ask yourself tough questions and peel back the layers to reveal what has potentially been lying dormant for years. Whatever the emotion, I want you to feel all of them because that's what brings about conversation and connection. I hope you are ready for a bumpy thought-provoking ride with me.
To say I am excited is an understatement, but I am ready to go wherever this leads because I have learned that sometimes you have to put yourself out there to get what you desire. That goes for love, life and career.

So, the next question might be about a book launch and signed physical copies, and the introvert in me says. "We don't need those shenanigans!" Why? Because that will place me in a social setting where I will be the centre of attention and won't be able to sit on the sidelines and do what I do best. People watch! Instead, I will be the observed person, and the mere thought makes my heart palpitate a tiny bit. But if I am to do the damn thing and step outside of my comfort zone, there will be a book launch, but I have no idea how it will look, considering we are in the middle of a pandemic and approaching the 15th wave of Covid, BUT we will figure something out. I'm open to all suggestions, so feel free to help a girl out.
