It's A Page Turner!

Sometimes we need to sit down and have a heart to heart with ourselves. You know when you tell yourself off, then you forgive yourself and then move on. I do this more often than I like to admit, but it happens nonetheless. I have concluded that I need to shift my way of thinking and look at my life as an ongoing story—one where I need to keep turning the pages and continually write new chapters.

"It's not an ending It's just the point in the story where you turn the page"

I don't know who needs this, but although we can't rewrite the past, we can compose the next chapter and chapters after that by merely saying yes or no to whatever comes our way.

We can elect to change our lives' trajectory as we remember that on the other side of our fear lies countless opportunities, and despite our differences, we will all have them.

We can look at life's situations and wallow in the abyss of "why me" and remain focused on what happened to us, or we can use it as a means to gain clarity. I choose clarity because being foggy is not only frustrating; it's exhausting! Sometimes WE are the storm in our lives, clouding our judgement with unnecessary worry and fears. But we don't have to be. With each mindset shift comes a challenge and none of us is off the hook!

Turn the page on being treated a certain way.

Turn the page on the job that is sucking the life out of us.

Turn the page on the would've, could've and should've of our past. Turn the page on the regrets, Turn the page on all of the things we have no control over and focus on writing the next chapter.

I want us to live our lives with a new lens and view our obstacles as opportunities for bigger and better things. Why?

Simply put, this is not the end.

Be Inspired!
